Thinly split large slab thicknesses with small tolerances
The K 21 and K 31 bandknife splitting machines can split slabs into layers of up to 0.8 mm [0.03 in], irrespective of the material characteristics. Their cast-iron construction, automatic bandknife adjustment, and specially formed bandknife beam make these machines particularly robust. They are mostly used with the following materials: from PE, EVA, cellular rubber, and felts to higher-density PU slabs and similar materials.
Flawless soft material cutting
Operators manually feed in and remove the splitted slabs. For processing roll goods, machines from the K series can be equipped with conveyor belts and winding devices. The knurled feed rollers enable flawless feeding, even when using soft materials. The bandknife tip is automatically adjusted and ensures a consistent cutting quality.
Automatically process products from block to pallet
The easy-to-use compact machines K 21/K 31 allow thin layers to be split from blocks up to a maximum thickness of 170 mm [6.69 in]. The cut layer and the remaining block can be manually removed from the rear side of the machine.
As a particularly robust version of the K 21, the K 31 also features various additional reinforcements.
