Cut three-dimensional molded parts
The D 5 compression cutting machine can, for example, cut mattress profiles of up to 1800 mm [70.87 in] in width made of PU foam (polyether and polyester), rebond foam, and similar deformable materials using compression. Three-dimensional symmetrical and asymmetrical molded parts can also be produced quickly and economically. The D 5 compression cutting machine is mainly used in the production of upholstered and office seats, as well as in the automotive and aviation industries.
Compression cutting with templates
A template screwed to a movable table defines the form of the product in compression cutting. The foam blank is laid down and fixed onto the template. As the table is fed, a pressure roller and a diagonal conveyor belt press the foam into the impressions of the template.
Double-sided mattress profiling
As the table is automatically fed, the compressed foam is fed in while the circulating bandknife cuts all material protruding from the template. The bandknife is sharpened with a grinding device and automatically adjusted to ensure high cutting quality. This process allows you to quickly and easily produce a mattress profiled on both sides.
